The Advisors Behind ARC

Greg Chimera

Greg brings nearly two decades of college football experience at the highest academic levels to ARC Advisory, specializing in guiding student-athletes and families through the recruiting process with clarity, honesty, and a strategic edge.

Most recently, Greg served as Offensive Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania, where he led offensive recruiting efforts and helped identify and secure top student-athletes from across the country. Prior to Penn, he spent five years as Head Coach at Johns Hopkins University, building one of the premier programs in Division III football.

During his tenure as head coach, Greg compiled a 40–7 record, earned AFCA Region 2 Coach of the Year honors, and led his program to multiple NCAA playoff appearances. More importantly, he built a nationally recognized recruiting model, attracting players from over 33 states and multiple countries while prioritizing academic excellence and long-term fit. His teams consistently produced Academic All-Americans at a historic level, reflecting a deep commitment to developing high-achieving student-athletes.

Greg’s approach to recruiting is rooted in experience on both sides of the process. He has evaluated thousands of prospects, built relationships with high school and college programs nationwide, and understands exactly what selective academic institutions—including Ivy League and top Division III programs—are looking for beyond just film and measurables.

At ARC Advisory, Greg works closely with families to identify the right academic and athletic fit, develop a clear recruiting strategy, and navigate the process with confidence. His network, insight, and honest guidance help student-athletes position themselves for opportunities that align with both their football goals and long-term future.

Greg graduated from Johns Hopkins in 2009 and currently lives in Cherry Hill with his wife Allison and two sons, Teddy & Charlie.
